Oregon’s Cultural Tax Credit can more than triple the value of your donations to cultural nonprofits!
Oregonians who support qualified cultural nonprofits in the state can maximize their support for statewide culture at no additional cost by using the Cultural Tax Credit. To be eligible for the credit, you must donate to one or more of these approved 1,600+ nonprofits, then make a contribution to the Oregon Cultural Trust in the same calendar year via our website, by phone or by mailing a check.
You will get up to 100% of the Cultural Trust donation back in the form of a state tax credit. It costs you nothing. The tax credit is limited to $500 for individuals, $1,000 for married couples filing jointly, and $2,500 for C-corporations. Making the donation to the Trust with appreciated stock, or from an IRA (if over age 70 ½), may provide additional tax benefits.
If you give to any of these arts, heritage or humanities nonprofits, you are eligible for the tax credit.
