Media Institute for Social Change

The Media Institute for Social Change teaches and inspires emerging media producers. Our flagship program is an eight-week immersive course teaching college students the artistic and journalist skills necessary to create radio and film documentaries about social issues. We also helped launch XRAY.fm in Portland and KXRW in Vancouver, and continue to host “The Non-Proft Happy Hour” on those stations. As well, we host a classroom and event space.
