BRAVO Youth Orchestras transforms the lives of underserved youth through intensive orchestral music instruction. BRAVO is inspired by El Sistema, the international movement of social action through music founded in Venezuela in 1975. BRAVO is a member of El Sistema USA, and is the first El Sistema aligned program in Oregon. BRAVO launched operations in September 2013 with BRAVO Rosa Parks at Portland’s poorest public school. In 2016-17 BRAVO will serve over 500 students at four priority schools
