Oregon Contemporary is a space dedicated to art, community, and the exponential possibilities of contemporary art. We produce powerful, visionary art programs for the communities of Oregon.
We believe artists provide unique, forward-thinking ways of connecting people to the nuanced issues that define modern life. We regularly promote voices and points of view—regional to international—that have been historically underrepresented in the arts, and engage these populations to impact and intervene in the contemporary arts dialogue.
By showcasing any and all forms of art in our exhibitions and events, Oregon Contemporary supports and empowers artists, curators, and performers, presenting singular experiences for the public every month. Through individual and business donations, as well as grant support, Oregon Contemporary is able to pay arts producers fairly for their work, while offering the majority of our programs to audiences free of charge.

The Oregon Historical Society is dedicated to making Oregon’s long, rich history visible and accessible to all. For more than a century, we have served as the state’s collective memory, gathering and preserving a vast collection of artifacts, photographs, films, manuscripts, books, and oral histories. We exist because history is powerful, and because a history as deep and rich as Oregon’s cannot be contained within a single story or point of view.
Researchers from around the world travel to our library, unearthing information that challenges conventional thinking. Curious individuals come to us to explore their family trees or discover the history of their homes or neighborhoods. Archaeologists, environmentalists, filmmakers, architects, novelists, artists, and others all find their way to us, asking questions, making discoveries, creating knowledge.
We share our vast collection through thought-provoking museum exhibits and robust digital platforms. We bring history directly to Oregon's students in ways that bridge gaps of time and perspective, and we support lifelong learning through our many public lectures and events. We advance critical inquiry through the Oregon Historical Quarterly , a journal that has sparked conversations throughout our community for over a century.

Oregon Mozart Players was founded in 1982 by a group of local professional musicians with two purposes: to perform the large repertoire of music for chamber orchestra and to share this music with the Eugene-Springfield community. As a result, the orchestra continues to present works written for small orchestras and intimate venues, allowing each instrument to be clearly heard.
The mission of the Oregon Mozart Players is to enrich the lives of the audience, the players, and the community alike through the excellent performance and vigorous advocacy of chamber orchestra music.

ORP was founded in 2018 by Taylor Stewart to memorialize Alonzo Tucker, Oregon’s most widely documented African American victim of lynching. Stewart started ORP after taking a life-changing trip to the American South where he first encountered the history of lynching at the Equal Justice Initiative’s Legacy Museum and National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Stewart lived in Oregon his entire life and couldn’t believe that he had to go all the way to Montgomery, AL just to learn about Alonzo Tucker. Stewart was inspired by this encounter with history to get involved in the Equal Justice Initiative’s Community Remembrance Project, which aims to work in the communities where the lynchings of African Americans took place to find healing and reconciliation through a sober reflection on history. Originally titled the “Oregon Community Remembrance Project,” ORP credits its origin to the work of the Equal Justice Initiative. In what simply began as an obscure personal side project, ORP but has since grown to become a wider movement to reconcile Oregon’s history of racial injustice.

The Oregon Symphony moves music forward. Our vision is bold and adventurous: to inspire audiences with exhilarating performances, present outstanding musicians in a range of styles, shine a light on contemporary issues, and represent our region as a Symphony for All.
Founded in 1896, the Oregon Symphony is the oldest orchestra on the West Coast and performs for more than 350,000 people annually. Led by Music Director David Danzmayr, we hold 100+ concerts each season at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in downtown Portland and 200+ Education & Community events throughout the Pacific Northwest, with a repertoire that ranges from our core classical series to genres like jazz, indie, hip hop, gospel, mariachi, and film music.

The Oregon Zoo provides comprehensive care for its animals. The Oregon Zoo Foundation elevates that care through the collaboration of countless individuals and organizations. Together with veterinarians, keepers, wildlife experts, and zoo management, we team up to ensure that resources are allocated where they’re needed most.
We collaborate with the zoo to support our animals’ well-being. We work closely with experts on our global wildlife impact. We are dedicated to animal welfare at the zoo and around the world. Our work is ongoing, and we do it for the animals.
We don’t take giving for granted, but gifts, grants and sponsorships don’t just feed the animals. They are more than a dollar amount. They raise the volume for the animals’ voices. They represent global impact and animal welfare. And they are a connection to you.
We are the Oregon Zoo Foundation.

Orgelkids, an educational pipe organ program developed in the Netherlands, is a traveling, reusable kit that empowers young children to assemble a working 2-rank, 2-octave pipe organ. Our objective is to grow Orgelkids into a nationwide network of independent kits, bringing the King of Instruments to children, making the pipe organ, its heritage, culture and music, accessible. We will also develop curriculum around the science, engineering and math inherent in constructing instruments and music

OPSFest performs using the same techniques as they did in Shakespeare's own time: no full rehearsal, an onstage prompter, fast-paced, energetic acting and lots of audience interaction. The First Folio includes all of the cues and clues needed to perform without rehearsal, just as Elizabethan actors did. OPSFest's approach brings out true reaction to the story as it progresses, creating a more immediate, organic and improvisational production for FREE!
