The Children’s Museum of Central Oregon (CMCO) was founded in 2015 as a 501(c)3 non-profit based in Bend, Oregon. Our Board of Directors is composed of local residents passionate about bringing more STEAM-based learning options to our community.
Initially, the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon was a “museum without walls” hosting summer camps and pop-up museum events in and around Central Oregon. Due to the continued growth in the region, and the continued lack of informal education opportunities for the youngest members of our community, in 2021 the board of directors pivoted to focus on building a museum WITH walls.

CMKF's non-profit began in 1998. The board had gone to children's museums and had seen first-hand what an interactive museum offers to the communities they serve. December 2001, CMKF was graciously donated a dental building to house the future "Children's Museum of Klamath Falls". Volunteers from the community gave countless hours, days, evenings and even the sacred weekend to help with our mission. July 4th, 2008 CMKF held it's Grand Opening for the families of Southern Oregon and beyond.

Choro in Schola, a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 by Dr. Bruce Browne, seeks to "promote excellence in young choral singers in Oregon and Washington."
We do this in three ways: by offering individualized vocal instruction in smaller groups; working on specific pieces with the choir as a whole; and demonstrating good choral practice with the CIS singers. In addition, Dr. Browne visits the school prior to the encounter to tailor the CIS visit to specific objectives and abilities.

The Christmas Ship Parade started in 1954 with one lone sailboat from Portland Yacht Club. Bows of green with some ribbon where tied along the rails and it paraded on the rivers. The next year the parade started to grow. Today, The Christmas Ship Fleet averages about 55 to 60 boats between the Columbia and Willamette River fleets. Things have changed from the first lone ship. Now the displays are brightly lit and can be seen from bank to bank on each river. Each boat owner designs and builds their lighted Christmas display and pays their operating costs which includes fuel. Many of the displays can be seen each year, but new boats join the flotilla each year and bring with them new Christmas oriented lighted exhibits.

Classical Revolution PDX is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching and educating our community by making classical music accessible to the public. We allow people to hear classical music in their everyday lives by taking chamber music out of the recital hall and playing it in alternative venues. We strive to preserve and revitalize classical music to make the public aware that this music can be enjoyed by anyone. In doing so, Classical Revolution PDX attempts to broaden the definition of chamber music and make it a vibrant part of Portland’s artistic community. Founded in 2007, CRPDX has received national critical acclaim and is part of a worldwide Classical Revolution movement.
Classical Revolution PDX has participated in numerous events across Portland, such as Make Music Day, the Portland Winter Light Festival, Bachxing Day, as well as monthly chamber jams and other unique showcases.
